These two dominate males laying down near each other, the boxer in command, the gsd was on break & laid down here on his own. Before they were both rehabbed, this most likely would have caused a fight. They are both calm & the boxer never even raised his head when the gsd laid near him. Casey, at private session with her owners for dog reactivity. They lived in an area where a lot of dog fights occurred & after that Casey became reactive. We started our protocals & owners had done a great job with her basics, so we were able to work her around another dog without any reactivity whatsoever . Owners learned great leash handling skills & to recognize loading in their dog so that they can correct that behavior so she never becomes reactive, we want the dogs neutral around environmentals.

Maisie did her go home session yesterday. She had a very hard time paying attention to me with her family present for first few minutes. We were able to work through that mess to following commands. She tried to blow me off sending her to place from a distance as she wanted to rush over to her owner. She’s a challenging dog & when she doesn’t want to do a known command she will blow thru the highest corrections as she’s determined to do things her way at times. The owner messaged me this am to report she was quite amazed Maisie was holding commands, listening to her, didn’t react to school bus as she had been in past. She even waited to potty until given release command to do so, again the owner was impressed she stated. I’m here if owner needs my help but hope Maisie will continue to make good decisions on or off leash.
