All great things come to an end, and with that, I’m excited for the next chapter of my life.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve trained thousands of people and thousands of dogs, made an impact on families, and improved the lives of veterans and people with disabilities. I’m thankful for every customer and client who ever believed in the Bellum K9 Santa Fe location.
Through hurricanes and economic hardship, we found a way to survive — but I’ve come to the decision to close the Santa Fe location while keeping the Spring location open. I personally have a mission and a journey waiting for me in a different part of the world.
Over the next 4 to 5 months, we’ll be finishing out all training programs at the Santa Fe location. I’m giving every client and customer more than enough time to complete their programs with me personally, along with the help of some amazing people coming down to support us.
If you haven’t started training yet and you’re serious about getting your dog fully trained, I’ll welcome you in during this transition period — but enrollment needs to happen now.
To everyone who walked through our doors: thank you for trusting us with your dogs and your families. Santa Fe will always be where it started.

When I was a little boy, I was taught something deeply rooted in my Mexican culture — that people never truly die until their name is spoken for the last time.

As I’ve gotten older, that lesson has carried even more meaning. Especially for our fallen K9 handlers and military working dogs who gave everything in service beside their brothers and sisters. Their sacrifice, loyalty, and courage deserve to be remembered forever.

Today we honor their names.
We honor their stories.
We honor their legacy.

Because as long as we continue to speak their names… they are never truly gone. Comment Never Forget!

To all of our fallen heroes — both two-legged and four-legged — we will never let your memory fade.

This year will look a little or a lot different for a few of us. I'm sure I'm not the only one who approaches this event with some anxiety. I won't lie, if you would have asked me 6 months ago, I would have said, I'm not going. I just can't. I still have that "feeling" in my stomach when it comes to tackling the 1st of anything now, including this event. However, there's more to Bragi's story to write, It's not over yet.

Speak kindly, be patient, & respect boundaries.
