Dogs are truly some of the best teachers, friends, and companions that you can have. We finally are able to announce that earlier this year we lost our Wrigley. After a devastating cancer diagnosis in November we did everything we could to ensure he lived a comfortable and happy life up until the end. It's still very raw for us, seeing small reminders of him everyday.
Wrigley was a special boy for us. Having 2 shepherds who would do anything we asked in training led us to scratch our heads when confronted with the most bull headed stubborn as***le of a dog. But he was our as***le. We loved him to death, and he is the reason we started training using the operant conditioning model. He shaped us as owners, trainers, just overall better teachers and listeners to dogs and their needs. His goofy antics always either put a smile on our face or made us panic when he would do things like fall off the side of a cliff, he always kept us on our toes.
Wrigley is a dog we will always cherish and one we will never forget. His memory lives on through our training and our dedication to helping owners with their own stubborn bull headed dogs.
