Some people look at him and the first thing they notice is his crooked little smile, his uneven teeth, or the way his face doesn’t fit the “perfect dog” picture. I’ve even heard people laugh and call him “ugly.”
But when I look at him, I don’t see ugly. I see my whole heart. 🥺❤️
That funny little smile is what greets me every single morning, the one that makes me laugh even on my worst days. Those teeth have chewed through more toys (and shoes!) than I can count, but they’ve also carried his favorite blanket everywhere like a child with their teddy.
He may not look like the dogs you see on magazine covers, but to me, he’s more beautiful than all of them. Because real beauty isn’t about a perfect face it’s about unconditional love, loyalty, and the way one little dog can make your entire world brighter.
To the world, he may be “ugly.”
To me, he’s perfect. Always. ❤️🐾
