We always need music to lift us up, provoke us, inspire us, excite us, elevate us and ease us. My bro has been creating tremendous music for decades - it was a amazing privilege to collaborate on together!

My little sister had XClan’s “To The East Blackwards” on cassette as well as now classics by Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, etc. all of which I used to borrow constantly. If you had told me one day I’d have on a track I produced (alongside the amazing who is no slouch himself) I would have told you you were crazy.

“Build High, Lay Low” feat. Brother J & Wildchild is from the LP LUCAS HIGH by my group Connie Price & The Keystones and you can get it on vinyl via after listening wherever you stream music first.

Big ups to my brother for making LUCAS HIGH possible and for having such great taste in music. 👊🏼👊🏼
