Meet Buddy! 🐾✨ One of our up-and-coming Mini Bernedoodle studs, and oh my goodness… he is turning out even more handsome than we ever dreamed. 😍 Born and raised right here at Shady Oak, Buddy carries some of our very best lines, and we are beyond excited to watch him grow into the incredible boy he’s becoming.

With his gorgeous markings, amazing temperament, and that signature Bernedoodle charm, we know Buddy is going to be a true showstopper in our program. 🐶💕 We’re looking forward to seeing his first puppies arriving in 2026—and if he’s any indication, they are going to be absolutely stunning! ✨

✨ Rare opportunity ✨ We’re looking for the perfect homes for a couple of our beloved retired girls. 💕

They’re spayed, up to date on all vet care, crate trained, and potty trained. These sweet girls have grown up with us here on the ranch since they were puppies—we love them deeply, so we’ll be very selective about where they go. 🐾

They adore kids, but we’re limiting applications to homes without children since we aren’t able to interview or vet little ones 😆. Southern California applicants only.

✨ Did you know? Blue eyes in merle-colored dogs are a normal and natural trait caused by the way the merle gene affects pigment distribution in the coat and eyes. This gene dilutes random patches of pigment, often creating the striking blue, gray, or marbled appearance in the iris. A merle dog may have two blue eyes, one blue and one brown (heterochromia), or even a mix of colors within the same eye, such as half brown and half blue. These variations are purely cosmetic and are not a health concern when the dog carries only one copy of the merle gene (a single merle). In fact, blue eyes in merle dogs are simply part of their unique beauty and genetic expression, without any impact on their vision or overall well-being. 🐾
