Strictly focussing on the Orpington breed of chicken, this breed is extremely docile and friendly, thrives in colder weather, and maintains that cute fluffy butt even through adulthood.

I haven't posted in quite awhile, but have noticed that I have many new followers... Thank you!

I have been working on my flock in addition to MANY other things going on in my life (first grand baby!).

I have temporarily halted my breeding program so I apologize to anyone who has wanted baby chicks. I do have fertilized eggs for sale, but cannot guarantee color of the birds once they hatch. (Thus, the reason I have temporarily halted my program).

My birds are ALL free range! They have access to my entire yard during the day and are only locked up at night (for their own safety). If you ever have any questions, please ask! I will happily answer anything.

*Picture - my son before school holding his favorite Buff, Penelope. She follows him to the gate every morning on his way out to school & then everywhere around the yard when he is outside. She has claimed him as her person. 🥰

My sweet Loretta proudly protecting her clutch amid the Morning Glory vines between our retaining wall and the fence line. I've got to admit, she picked the best, most secluded spot in the whole yard. Smart girl! 🥰

Just want to show off my gorgeous rooster... Snowball! While he doesn't look much like a snowball now, he was all white when he hatched. He is incredibly sweet and protects his girls by putting himself between them and whomever he is protecting them from. He's the most amazing rooster that I have ever seen. 💗💗💗

On Sunday, March 7, 2021, my sweet Bo-Peep passed away. After sending her in for a necropsy it was determined that her cause of death was Hypovolemic Shock. She had several blood clots throughout her body, an enlarged liver, and had glass fragments and 3 screws in her digestive tract.

I have been allowing all of my birds free range my entire yard during the day and having them return to the coop at night. While the cause of death does not specifically state that it was the glass fragments or screws that caused it, I still feel horrible for even thinking that they would not eat stuff like that.

Needless to say, I will be cleaning my yard and running a fine tooth comb over it before allowing my birds to free range again. It's heartbreaking to lose one bird, but would be unbearable to lose more.

Orpington Hatching eggs! Rooster is an English Isabel Cuckoo Orpington... Hens are Buff, Lavender, Black, and Chocolate Cuckoo Orpingtons. (See picture attached). If you want a specific color chick, I can try to be sure to give you that particular chickens eggs, but I cannot guarantee them to be that specific color.
