Willow must have a friendly cat companion — he finds comfort and confidence with another kitty by his side. He’s also good with respectful dogs and would do best in a peaceful home with older, gentle kids (13+).

Thank you for trusting us to be the tias and aunties to your precious kitties. There is no greater compliment than being handed the keys to your home and the care of your cat babies. We know how much they mean to you because they mean the world to us too.

Being a cat mom is a special kind of love. It's knowing their favorite nap spot, their purrferred treat, and exactly where they like to be scratched. It's waking up with a cat on your pillow (or your face) and wouldn't have it any other way.

It's National Pet Week so here are some fun cat facts that might surprise you!

Did you know that 49 million U.S. households have at least one cat? That's 37% of all American homes! Cat ownership jumped 23% in 2024 alone. Cats are having a real moment.

Here in San Diego County, about 25% of households have cats, and that number is likely even higher than reported since our indoor kitties aren't exactly out on the sidewalk advertising their presence. You don't see cats out on walks the way you see dogs, so it's easy to think there are fewer of them. But trust us... they're here. We care for hundreds every year.

Multi-cat households are on the rise too. Homes with three or more cats increased by 36% in just the last six years. So if you've been thinking about adding a second (or third) kitty to your crew, you're not alone!

Happy National Pet Week to all our North County cat families. Whether you've got one kitty or a whole clowder, we're honored to care for them.

We are not entirely sure they are doing it right but they are very committed to the process and we did not want to discourage them.

The faucet situation is apparently part of the system. We have stopped asking.
