At approximately 2 years old and weighing around 40 pounds, she is thought to be a mix of terrier and lab. Journee is currently honing her leash skills and quickly adapting to a potty routine. She has a friendly disposition towards other dogs and is known for her calm nature, making her an excellent fit for any family. Journee is in search of a nurturing and patient foster or forever home where she can continue to thrive and develop into a loving companion. Could you be the safe haven she needs?

Join us on Tuesday, August 26, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Willis Allen Real Estate, located at 897 S Coast Hwy, Suite F-101, Encinitas 92025, for the Taste of Encinitas Event. This is a fantastic opportunity to support local vendors while meeting our adorable adoptable dogs. If you’ve been considering welcoming a furry companion into your home, this is the perfect occasion! Additionally, we will be collecting much-needed donations:

Our goal is clear: to help as many pets as we can find loving forever homes. Meet Bandit! Found as a stray in Bakersfield, he found himself on the euthanasia list at the City Shelter. Believed to be a Dalmatian blend this sweet boy is around 6 months old weighing in around 30ish lbs. Bandit is a lively and affectionate pup, full of energy and charm! While he’s still mastering his puppy etiquette when meeting new faces, he gets along well with children of all ages and dogs of various sizes. Currently, he spends time in a crate when left alone, and he’s gradually adjusting to that routine. Bandit has already learned to sit, lay down, and shake, although he’s still perfecting his leash walking skills. He tends to be quite vocal, expressing himself whether we’re away, at home, or out on walks. Bandit is looking for a loving home where he can continue to learn and grow into the best family companion! Could this guy sneak his way into your heart?

🚨URGENT FOSTER🚨

Freedom needs a new foster by 8/31!

Meet Freedom! This lovable boy was rescued from the euthanasia list at Downey High Kill Shelter, and he truly embodies the spirit of a gentle giant. At around 4 years old and weighing around 80 lbs, Freedom is one of the calmest dogs his fosters have ever encountered. He enjoys relaxing at home, taking leisurely walks, and playing with his tennis ball at the park. While he’s not particularly fond of his crate, he prefers the comfort of a dog bed for sleeping. Although car rides aren’t his favorite, he lights up with joy when he arrives at fun destinations like the beach. Freedom has shown remarkable friendliness towards new people and dogs alike, behaving impeccably in social settings by resting quietly under tables at restaurants and bars. Freedom would do best in a home with kids 8 and older due to his size and silliness! He has adapted well to apartment life but would also flourish in a house with a yard. Could you be the one to give Freedom his forever home?

Meet Peattie! This delight bully mix is around 10 months old and weighs in around 55 lbs. This delightful companion is a velvety soft snuggle bug with a laid-back demeanor. While he may not have the highest energy levels, he thrives on social interactions, often prioritizing greetings and attention from passersby over vigorous exercise during walks. His friendly nature makes him quite receptive to cues, and he gets along well with other dogs, showcasing an extremely gentle temperament. Although he’s not being fostered with children, his gentle disposition suggests he would be wonderful with them. He would also benefit from the company of another playful dog to enjoy some lively romps together. He’s very smart and food motivated. He’s picked up his potty routine and is working on his leash skills! Could Peattie be the one for you?
