Meet Drew, a gentle 3-to-4-year-old white Boxer who was found as a stray in Imperial County. This resilient boy is currently sitting in a crowded shelter and is at immediate risk of euthanasia. He desperately needs a safe haven to escape the shelter environment before it’s too late.

Despite whatever he has been through, Drew has an incredibly friendly disposition. He is a total sweetheart who just wants to please. He arrived significantly underweight and needs a patient, loving home where he can safely gain some weight, enjoy nutritious meals, and finally learn what it feels like to be pampered.

Meet Zeiss! This handsome guy has a fascinating background. He is a certified service animal who spent 7 years faithfully assisting a military veteran. After a long and honorable career, Zeiss has decided it’s time to officially retire from his duties. His previous owner recently moved out of state into assisted living and couldn’t take him along, so Zeiss is ready for his next chapter.

Here is the honest scoop on this unique boy: Zeiss is a bit of a “peculiar” fellow, and we love him for it! He isn’t a fan of unsolicited human affection. When he meets the right people he showers them in gentle kisses. He’s a fiercely independent guy who prefers to be left alone—unless he decides he wants a head scratch. Just don’t linger too long, or he’ll politely walk away and “tell” you all about it! 😂

The Good Stuff:
• Dog Friendly: He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energies. He coexists perfectly in a pack.
• Water Lover: He is obsessed with water! He’ll splash in a pool or play a game of “catch me if you can” with the garden hose.

Look at those ears! Ajax is a 5.5 month-old Cattle Dog/Pittie/Shepherd mix who is looking for a dedicated foster to help him reach his full potential. At 40 lbs, he’s a growing boy with a big brain and a heart to match!

Ajax is already ahead of the curve in some departments—he is house trained and crate trained. However, like any young pup with his specific breed mix, he’s a “work in progress” who needs a leader to show him the ropes.

The Details:

• The Good Stuff: Crate trained, house trained, and incredibly handsome.
• The Challenges: He gets over-excited on leash walks and has shown some resource guarding with his people.

What He Needs in a Foster:
