Ingredients:

Directions:

Ingredients

1¾ cups all-purpose flour

2 cups sugar

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup buttermilk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 cup hot coffee

1 tsp vanilla extract

Triple Layer Candy Explosion Cake
Ingredients :
1 chocolate fudge brownie base baked in 9-inch pan and cooled
1 vanilla cake layer baked same size cooled
2 cups chocolate pudding or mousse filling
2 cups vanilla cheesecake or cream cheese frosting filling
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies mixed into fillings
1 cup mini M&M’s divided
1/2 cup chocolate chips for melting drizzle
Whole Maltesers or similar malt balls for topping
Regular M&M’s for colorful top decoration

Preparation :
1. Place the cooled brownie base on a serving plate or cake board.
2. Spread half the chocolate pudding evenly over the brownie then sprinkle with half the mini M&M’s.
3. Add the vanilla cake layer on top and press down gently to adhere.
4. Spread the remaining chocolate pudding over the cake then fold in crushed Oreos and rest of mini M&M’s.
5. Top with vanilla cheesecake frosting smoothing it over sides and top.
6. Drizzle melted chocolate decoratively over the top edge letting some drip down sides.
7. Arrange whole Maltesers and regular M&M’s generously across the top surface.

200g shortbread or speculoos biscuits
90g melted butter
- Raspberry Insert
300g raspberries (fresh or frozen)
70g sugar
3 sheets of gelatin
- Lemon Bavarian Cream
4 lemons (zest + 150ml juice)
100g sugar
4 egg yolks
4 sheets of gelatin
35cl very cold heavy cream
Preparation:
1. Biscuit Base
1. Crush the biscuits.

2. Mix with the melted butter.

3. Press into the bottom of the mold.

4. Chill for 30 minutes.

2. Raspberry Insert
1. Heat the raspberries and sugar.

2. Blend and then strain (optional to remove the seeds).

3. Add the softened gelatin.

4. Pour into a mold smaller than the cake. 5. Freeze for at least 1 hour (important).

3. Lemon Bavarian Cream
1. Soften the gelatin.

2. Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar.

3. Add the lemon juice and zest.

4. Thicken over low heat (do not boil).

5. Remove from heat and add the softened gelatin.

6. Let cool slightly.

7. Gently fold in the whipped cream.

4. Assembly
1. Pour half of the lemon Bavarian cream over the biscuit base.

2. Place the frozen raspberry insert on top.

3. Cover with the remaining Bavarian cream.

4. Smooth the surface and refrigerate for at least 6 hours (ideally overnight).
