I moved to Kelseyville Ca a few weeks ago. I lived in Las Vegas, NV for 6 years. There are some nice things about Las Vegas. I had better medical insurance then I have in CA. Nevada Power was cheaper than some providers. My condo was very expensive for the mortgage and HOA. I moved to live in a more affordable area. My brother lives in this area. I want to rebuild our relationship

I moved to Las Vegas, NV in August 2018. I had Chakan a great cat that lived with me. When he realized I was moving he got sicker with chronic kidney disease. He died a week or so before my scheduled moving date. I adopted another Siamese cat. This boy cat had Water Diabetes. I knew he was sick. I didn't realize the extent of his illness. He died from complications of his disease.

I wanted another cat. I went to the Las Vegas SPCA. I was chosen by a cat I might never have chosen. She is the perfect cat for me. In 2024, I sold my Las Vegas condo and purchased a mobile home in Kelseyville, CA. The cat I named On Choi is a snowshoe with blue eyes and a dark coat. She is beautiful.

This is a small town surrounded by agriculture. I never lived in a small town before. I am a big city girl. Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas are places I lived. I love living in a small town. There are frustrations. The closest Walmart is a 20 drive on a two lane road. I go about every other week. It is quiet here and surrounded by huge trees. I plan to be more active with this page on Facebook. Sending blessings.

The Siamese cat in the photo was Chakan. I adopted him from the El Cajon shelter. He was not fixed and did his job to get as many female cats pregnant. He was scheduled to be put to sleep. I told the shelter I was an experienced owner of Siamese cats and if he was fixed, he would no longer chase female cats.

Years later, I brought home another Siamese cat I got from a irresponsible breeder. Fa Ying had not been spayed. When Chakan met her, he remembered he was supposed to make babies. He jumped on her back. He didn't remember what to do. He looked at me with this confused look on his face. I calmly told him that part of his life was over. He was a great cat.

In 1999, I adopted a cat that helped me heal my broken heart. I just moved back to California, where I was born. She was my constant companion. In 2006, she got sick. A kind vet told me she might not survive. She had a congenital heart defect and she had heart failure. I decided to spend a lot of money to keep her alive. I told my brother. He asked me if that is what my cat wanted. I paused my frantic activity and focused on my cat. I told the vet I would let her go when it was her time.

I few day later, I knew it was time. She was uncomfortable. I called the vet and we drove over. I was with her when she passed over the rainbow bridge. Her last minutes on earth, she knew I loved her.

I wrote a book about this experience. That was my first book which I will rewrite. It is our story. She was part cat and part angel.
