We have had such a busy year that I have not had time to post much. More and more babies hatch each week, so check back often. We currently have over 50 breeds available. So many silkies have hatched that we are getting close to the end of our preorder list, which means they will be available to purchase immediately soon.

We deliver throughout Southern California and ship chickies weekly to every state, except HI and AK.

What a busy week. Over 1000 babies hatching. Deliveries 5 days to all 5 counties. Boxes and boxes of chickies shipping! Phew...took Sunday off just to answer texts, messages and phone calls.

We have updated our website to include a section for what is Available Now. Our goal is to make it easier for you to see which chickies are running around the farm, versus available to preorder for upcoming hatches.

What a wonderful day. Feels like summer. Lots of adorable Chickies delivered today. Silkies, jubilee Orpingtons, Black Copper Marans, Cream Legbars, Mottled Houdans and more…from babies to 25 week olds. Then finishing the deliveries with a stop at one of my favorite places…neptunes net.

Backyard and Hand Raised Chickies

We are high quality breeders for backyard and hand raised chickens. Our chickies are given love, sunshine, dirt and bugs! All the fun stuff in life, in addition to high quality non-medicated chick starter, in a warm, safe environment. When you buy chickies from us, they will be active and healthy. From the time they hatch, they are given plenty of room to practice jumping, flying and running.

I have been raising chickens for over a decade, and have loved them from the very beginning. I have owned and raised over 50 different breeds. In 2017, I adoped a rooster from the humane society and bought my first incubator. Even before the first clutch hatched, I had already purchased two more incubators and a hatcher. For 2019, I have expanded significantly. We now have 2 farms with over 5 brooder areas, multiple outdoor coops and runs and multiple high quality bloodline breeding stock, including Cream Legbars from Jill Rees showline, Black Copper Marans from the Bev Davis / Wade Jeane lines, Blue Splash Marans, 55 Flowery Hens and lots of Silkies! In addition, I always try to have a few of the other standard breeds that I loved raising, like Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, New Hampshire Red, Buff Orpingtons, White Leghorns, Barred Rock and more.
