For 5 month my clients tried keeping their new rescue calm around their cats and until today they could do it. With my help teaching them how to teach their girl to settle on their terms and learn “place” for decompression they sent me this video. This progress is the same day as our appointment. I’m beyond thrilled for them. I don’t use treats, punishment or ecollars for this impulse control work. Just clear communication and a leash. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

11 week old Princess Leia did so good at our appointment today. Her parents adopted her from Labs and more 10 days ago. They were having issues with nipping, potty training, crate training and more. I made sure I made training super simple not only for the baby but for her parents. They said she has never slept on her bed. We got her on a good schedule and added structure and boundaries to her day. She also has never been on leash. They are so excited how simple life with a puppy can be.

I am beyond proud of these two girls and their 7 month old husky. Today was their week follow up and I am so proud! A week ago these girls were having a very hard time with their young pup. Leash pulling, reactive on walks, jumping, pretty much completely uncontrollable! These videos just prove how much they have done in a week. I taught them today to use a scooter to work with her and make it a little bit more fun. They are killing it. If training is clear then your dog will understand. I’m so happy!! Can’t wait to hear about what’s next!

Dogs need to learn boundaries with their humans so it can help them become better with other dogs and other humans. Manners are part of the socializing process. If you teach your dog to respect your space most likely they will be more willing to respect others too!
8 month old Frida did so amazing today at our appointment. We worked on boundaries, place training for impulse control and leash manners for her reactive behaviors.
I can’t wait to hear about her progress!

I had a great time helping 5 month old Olive and her parents today. All puppies need clear direction, confidence building and structure. Making life as easy as possible not only for your puppy and yourself is so important. Proper leash work, place training and boundaries can help you do that. Dogs don’t need fancy training. Humans don’t need to learn special ways of training like using treats, ecollars or punishment style training. Maya only had positive only treat based training her whole 7 years of life and she never understood that her behaviors were not necessary. The reason her behaviors never got better is because they never made sense to her. This isn’t the owners fault because you want to trust the “professional” that your hired. I’m so glad that Mayas owners found me on a local mom dog fb page. These are messages from the day of and the day after our appointment. My training isn’t magic, down would day it is but it’s literally just clear communication. Training is about doing it together as a whole. You can’t punish a dog or reward a dog for unwanted behaviors. You must teach them better behaviors instead. If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out. 🫶🫶
