Jazz - On Friday we said goodbye to our eldest equine statesman on the ranch, a 28 year old Quarter Horse named "Jazz". He was a gentle soul, easy on the trails, great with people of all ages or in the herd with other horses.

After facing health challenges with his heart murmur (no more riding), and his teeth (no more hay, soaked grain only), his digestive system finally went into collapse and he stopped eating. It's not an easy thing to see an animal in pain and it was time for him to leave us.

May he find greener pastures.

His presence will be greatly missed.
