Can you teach our kids how to train the dog too?! You betcha! 🥳

Is flashback Friday still a thing?!

Well, it will be for us over these next few weeks while our trainers heal on medical leave.

You may remember Noah the German Shepherd 🐕 Noah joined us for our Advanced Program where we also did a test run on our Adventure Program before we launched it. 📚

Pack Update

Beginning today May 20th, all future appointments will be scheduled three weeks out - approximately June 10th or later.

Unfortunately, Izahbellah our second trainer became ill this week and will be on medical leave until then.

If you have a scheduled appointment currently, you will continue to have your session with measures put in place for safety concerns.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as both of our trainers go through the healing process.

Our private lesson student, Sweetie, working on her impulse control & emotional regulation around triggers for her reactivity. Sweetie’s owners struggle with her lunging at anything with wheels so what did we do as her trainers? Bring items with wheels to work on desensitizing her to these objects.

I’d say Sweetie did a great job, what about you? 🐾

New around here? Meet one of our trainers, Fernando 👋

Fernando co-founded Guiding Pets & Parents Inc with Izahbellah. He began his career with animals as a kennel tech about a decade ago, through his time in local shelters he also worked as an animal control officer and Animal Rescue Coordinator. Here is where Fernando discovered his love of working with animals & people.

Fernando uses his shelter experience to teach our owners about animal behavior & psychology during private lessons, board & train programs & more.
