It’s shocking the way we get puppies sometimes.

This lovely tiny injured lady was found by a Good Samaritan UNDER HIS CAR TIRE in an HEB parking lot after a shopping trip, no other dogs in sight. How unbelievably lucky she is that her tiny tiny body was spotted.
Unfortunately, she was already injured when she was found, one of her hind legs reduced to a bloody stump. The good Sam did what was best for the little one and brought her immediately to an emergency vet who reached out to us, as the baby’s only options were going to a rescue or humane euthanasia.

Of course we stepped up and said yes! Who knows what terrible trauma this baby could’ve gone through before being found, we are going to give her all the chances in the world to be loved now.

We need your help with puppy season ramping up, the community is needed to step up and help us provide for the little ones who wouldn’t have a chance otherwise!

Rescue never sleeps! Late last night a Good Samaritan found these pups dumped on a back road. These poor things were absolutely infested with fleas and ticks, underweight, and wormy.
Thankfully the Good Sam was able to foster until we can find these pups their forever home!

We have need of even more fosters! Another litter of puppies was dumped on a country road and found by a Good Samaritan! We can’t help without funds for vaccines, s/n, and food! Our biggest needs right now are funds for vaccines, and puppy food because you know these little dudes eat a lot!

Cypress and Mesquite thank you!

Cypress got lucky and got into a vet appointment to be neutered yesterday! He did amazing and now that he’s got his first DHPP, Bordetella vaccines, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchip, he’s ready to meet his forever family!

Cypress is an incredibly snuggly, sweet, gentle , and quiet puppy. He is looking for someone who has plenty of time to spend with him, and would like to spend time giving him all the pampering in the world!

He is 5 pounds, 9 weeks old, and is a possible “cairn terrier” mix

The need for community doesn’t stop once they’re out of ACS!!

Mrs Tricia has been absolutely BLOOMING in the care of her amazing fosters!
Shes happier, healthier, and has gained some much needed weight.

Now we need your help! Due to a lifetime of neglect, Mrs Tricia has a few surgeries she is going to need. She has suspected mammary cancer on both sides of her mammary chains due to being unspayed, as well as excessive skin on her back and tail head resulting in an area of hairloss from prior skin infections.
She also is in desperate need of a dental, as what few teeth this old lady has are pretty nasty.
