And just like that, one of my little girl silkie babies from My Pet Chicken is a boy. It makes me so sad but so far, he is nice and he does have the cutest crow (he likes to stand on this wood pile and crow)

Trying to make sure the babies still love me after putting them outside at night for the first time.

Tonight, we are going to try letting the babies sleep outside. I’m sure they will be fine - it’s me that feels like I’m leaving my kids for their first day of kindergarden.

Frank put together an area inside the Coop for my babies. I let them play outside for the day but we brought them back inside at night. I’m still not ready for them to “leave the nest”.
