Meet and greet with a cat colony this morning

03/12/2026

As Jenna Rose said: Sometimes it takes a whole community to save one small life. 🐈

What started as a worried call about a tiny kitten trapped deep inside a storm drain turned into an incredible moment of teamwork, patience, and heart.

Volunteers, neighbors, and rescuers came together — monitoring, coordinating, and refusing to give up until this little one was safely brought back to the surface.

A huge thank you to Jenna Rose, Traci Bell, Lynette Federspill, Dana, and Emily Casso for stepping up and working together to make this rescue possible.

And thank you to the amazing SA Cat Rescue community whose support, guidance, and encouragement helped make it happen.

The best part… this sweet kitty now has a foster waiting and a second chance at life. ❤️

Moments like this remind us what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves.

🎥 Watch the rescue unfold.
