I had the pleasure and honor of helping with the fish sedation and physical exam wet lab. As a veterinary student, I had limited exposure to fish medicine, so I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to give back and help provide a great learning experience for future fish vets.

Learning how to properly sedate fish and perform a thorough physical exam is a core competency for any fish veterinarian.
