‘Tis the season 👽👻🎃🕸
Tomorrow will be our final Club Day! Thank you for joining us this year in our training journey. AV Club tomorrow will be open to all clients, past and current! Costumes are recommended 🥳
A reward-based, balanced approach to dog training. Serving Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas. All programs involve an in-home training experience.
We begin with a 30-minute consultation to assess your needs and goals with training. This will help me create a customized curriculum specific to your lifestyle. Unlike large training facilities, this approach immerses your dog in real-life scenarios, greatly reduces their stress levels, and allows for maximum one-on-one time with their trainer. Better obedience, more freedom.
Operating as usual

**AV CLUB CANCELLED TODAY**
Although we appreciate the rain, it has not been conducive to our outdoor classes. We will be canceling Club this morning due to the rain/snow. Thank you to everyone who made it to Club on Thursday! Stay warm and dry. 🍂🌨☔️
Loose leash walking with plenty of foot traffic and distractions. We love to see engagement between the dogs and their owners! 🐾
The best Club around 🥳
**AV CLUB IS CANCELLED TODAY**
Due to the rain we will be canceling Club today. We apologize for the late notice. Stay dry and we will see you on Thursday! 🌧
Nobie and his mom, Rachelle, will be helping lead many of our Club Days over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for them when you arrive!
**If you click on the link on the day you are interested in on the Calendar, more information comes up such as if you have to reserve in advance and specific meeting location**
Coming when called 💯
AV Obedience Club this morning! We broke off into smaller groups to practice duration stays (sit/down).
Training made more fun with friends. 🐾
A fun exercise where teams loose-leash walked while other dogs held a sit or down away from their owners 🥳
AV Club tonight 🥰
Congratulations to Milo and Thelma for attending their first Club day!
Words cannot express how proud we are of the progress Archie and his mom have made in their training. They have truly gone above and beyond to improve their relationship, teach him a clear communication system and increase Archie’s motivation to work with her. Trying to increase engagement in a fearful dog with minimal toy and food drive is not easy, however look at this progress! 😭🥳🥰💙
AV Club today! ⛰
🎥
It was Charley’s (medium sized Shepherd Mix) first time at AV Club today and she did so well! The other teams provided a safe space for her to practice building her confidence around new dogs and people. Forever grateful for this small dog training community 💙
AV Obedience Club 💙
AV Club this Thursday is indoors which means you have to reserve a spot in advance via phone/email/social media.
In this exercise, each team took turns loose leash walking while the other dogs had to hold a sit away from their owners. A difficult exercise that every team was able to complete!
5 month old Milo practicing all he has learned at a busy pet store today! He was able to engage with me with other people around, dogs barking, new sights and smells. 🐾
Better obedience, more freedom 🐾❤️
Nobie (Terrier) and Lucy (Dalmatian) holding a sit while their owners weaved around all of the other teams! It’s so rewarding seeing dogs at all different levels improve week after week. Keep practicing at home between Club days. See you next Thursday! 🥳
AV Club today with lots of new members! 🎉
Scout, the husky, did training at the park today! The major issues Scout was having was severe leash pulling, lack of engagement, and recall - common with the breed. He has made huge improvements so far, we cannot wait to see him progress over the next month in his program.

AV Club today!
Let’s get more obedience titles together 🎉💯
Duration stay with Milo around plenty of distractions!
Nando doing a room search for odor. This was the very first time he searched for odor that was hidden out of sight. We will continue improving his indication and commitment to the scent.👃🎉
Squad goals 🤩
** CLUB IS CANCELED TODAY **
Due to the severity of the smoke and the unhealthy air quality, we have decided to cancel AV Club this morning. We will see everyone next Thursday at Crestwood Park!
Figure 8 leash walking while a dog held a place in the middle!
AV Club tonight! One of the best photos yet. 📸
He’s a spicy one today 🔥😂
💙
The crew from yesterday 🐾🥰
Some loose-leash walking practice for Nobie today!
AV Club this morning 🎉
We adore this little dog! Full of s***k and enthusiasm 🎉
Wesley a 5 month old Mini Goldendoodle.
Countless things to be proud of today!
Sam the St Bernard and Sophie the black GSD attended Club for the first time today with their owners!
A huge thank you to Emily for helping guide the first part of Club. Emily’s dog, Winter the Pitbull, did the majority of the exercises today off-leash 🤯
We also had fun helping out Utah’s Schutzhund Club by providing a safe space for their members to train their sport dogs near other dogs and people.
💙🐾
Heeling with 5 month old Wesley today at the park 🥰
Training should be fun for both dogs and humans 🥳
90% play and engagement, 10% obedience behavior 🥳
Engagement is the foundation of training. You can never work on this enough. Practice in low distracting areas, so the environment sets your dog up to begin pushing you to train with them. Working with you is a privilege - free food, your undivided attention and play!
Recall with Rey! This team has worked so hard over the past 2 months. Training done well, in a kind and fair way, takes time. We promise you the results and the relationship you build with your dog are worth it!

Three dogs at a time took turns holding a sit or down while their owners weaved among the entire group. In this session it was Archie (poodle mix), Sophie (German Shepherd) and Nobie (terrier mix).
One team loose leash walks while the other team holds a sit! We couldn’t do what we do without all of our members. Thank you to each and every one of you for putting in the work. 🥰
Thank you Rachelle for helping guide a part of Club this morning! In this exercise the dogs had to hold a sit away from their owners, while one dog at a time heeled past them. The dogs heeling had to then weave around people while maintaining a loose leash. Club is there to give you ideas on what to work on at home, a safe place to work close to people and other dogs, and to see where you and your dog are struggling the most. We want to see our members progress every week. Keep training between AV Club days! 🐾
