Hello all, this is the owner of Pups. I would like to clear up some recent posts about our groomers and the possible abuse of dogs in our facility. This is NOT true. I would not allow it. We do not claim to be certified low-stress handling. In full transparency, we misused that term soon after we opened but after we were corrected, we stopped. We have purchased the licensed courses for our groomers but they have not yet completed them. We do try our best to reduce stress for dogs in our care. We are very transparent and as a customer, you are welcome to come in and watch our grooming process at any time. We have a window that you can watch through.
If you have any concerns about the care of your dog, please reach out to us directly. Your pup's safety is always our first priority.

Meet Simon!
This 15lb Chihuahua mix is loving, playful and snuggly! Simon enjoys being with people and other pets, and is great with other dogs and cats! He can be just a little shy, right at first, but will be soon working his way into your lap and into your heart! Simon loves to eat and is very treat motivated, which makes training easier and fun for everyone. Simon is looking for a patient and loving home that can help him build some confidence. He enjoys walks and playing in the yard to burn up his energy, another playful and confident dog in his adoptive home would be ideal. Simon is working to perfect his housetraining skills, and will also need continued help with settling into downtime in his crate. Because he can vocal at times, a home without shared walls is best.

Here at Pups we practice Low Stress Handling to help make your pups grooming experience as positive as possible! This is Arthur, he's an 8 month old Welsh Terrier, and just like most puppies he is afraid of having his face trimmed. To help Arthur have a more positive experience, one of our groomers gently holds him and feeds him treats, while the other carefully trims his face. This helps him have a positive association with the grooming process, versus a fearful one, and will help set him up for success with future grooms.
