October done. Every dog who came through this month left better than they arrived.

That's still the whole reason for all of this. 🐾

Thanksgiving travel is coming. And the question I start getting every November is the same one: "Do you have boarding availability?"

Short answer: sometimes yes, sometimes no — it depends on when you ask.

If you're traveling this November or December and need somewhere you can actually trust with your dog, get in touch now. Link in bio to request a stay.

Teddy came in 4 weeks ago and the thing that's changed most isn't the commands — it's how settled they are.

Calm is a skill. Focus is a skill. We teach both.

If you've been thinking about board and train before the holidays, now is when to start. It takes time to build real results — and that time goes fast.

Late October in New England. The dogs do not want to come inside.

Same, honestly.

October is when the Pack Hikes collar gets the most use.

Waterproof, built for the weather, adjustable for dogs that actually go places. Holds up on the beach, in the woods, and everywhere in between.

The place command is one of the single most useful thing I teach.

A dog who knows place has somewhere to be. They're calmer, they're less anxious, and they stop making every moment about what they want. It takes about 15 minutes to introduce — and it changes how every day goes.

We teach this in every board and train and day school program. Want to start with a free consultation? Link in bio.

Boarding here isn't drop-off and disappear.

Your dog gets pack hikes, real exercise, a routine, and a comfy place to sleep. They come home tired in the best possible way.

The holidays are closer than they look. Boarding spots fill up — link in bio to request a stay. 🐾

From Woof Pack to Winnie's Wanders to Wandering K9 — here's the full story.

Some of you have been with me since 2015. You knew me as Woof Pack. Then Winnie's Wanders. And now, Wandering K9.

Here's the story behind all three names — and why this one finally feels right.

Woof Pack is where it all started. A name, a dream, and a lot of learning on the fly.

Winnie's Wanders came in 2022, named after my dog Winnie — a bulldog who hiked every trail with me from the very beginning of him coming home. For six years, he was out front on every pack hike, every field trip, every long day with the dogs. He earned his retirement. These days he's 8 years old and living his best life on the farm.

But as the business grew and training became the heart of the work, I started to feel the disconnect. Winnie's Wanders was a beautiful name — it just didn't say dog training. It didn't say what I actually do and what this business has become.

Wandering K9 does.

Same trainer. Same philosophy. Same commitment to balanced training that sticks long after your dog comes home. Just a name that finally matches the work.

To everyone who's been with me through any chapter of this — thank you. You've watched this grow from the ground up.

And if you're new here: welcome. I'd love to meet your dog.
