Garmr’s IGP2 (99-84-99) retrieves and send out. He did excellent minus going around the A-Frame. If you want to learn how I train the retrieves I have the full process here.

Garmr’s IGP2 (99-84-99) motions portion. I was super happy with him, just a couple bobbles on staying in the stand, and going around the A-Frame, but overall happy with his focus and desire to work. All the exercises were excellent minus the 2 big point losses. We’ll get those ironed out.

Well, two 99 tracks in a row.... with my current dog..., and a few 100's over the years.. and 95's at nationals with 40% of the competitor fails....(tough conditions...(everyone complaining...) ) I think at this point... just like every sport/mma fighting endeavor I've done, and now horse training... the ability to do the fundamentals better than the competition is the key to success... that's why Michael Jordan did so many free throws, and Kobe Bryant, etc... ... my "secret" to tracking success... is the fundamentals that I've learned over 20 years.... that is in my Tracking 101 course... You can learn what I've been learning over the last 20 years... and getting pretty decent results..it really isn't rocket science... just the key discipline and focus to get the job done for maximum points!
Quality over quantity.... like for real... Garmr did 8 tracks in 10 months... 2 tracks a month before the trial... then 6 tracks up to the trial date... and we didn't peak before the test. I also feel a lot of people "peak" before trial day with their dogs....again, quality training with purpose...vs just "tracking" motions...

Well Mr. Garmr did well for his IGP2. 99-84-99-282. High Tracking, High Protection, and High in Trial.

Rose City Working Dog club held a great trial as usual. If you ever want to trial, it’s a club to trial at for sure.

I’d like to thank everyone who’s helped him along the way, especially my partner Merissa for making sure I get out to track, do obedience and for fine tuning His control work in protection. Also my club Salem Schutzhund Club for always helping out and having a great place to train. Bobby Lavin for helping prepare him for the trial helper work and control in a high drive fighting helper mood.
