Life is hard sometimes. We all get busy, overwhelmed, sick, stressed, or just need an extra hand and that's okay.

I started Kara Cares because I truly love helping people and their animals. Whether you need pet sitting, drop-in visits, house checks, plant watering, help while you're out of town, or even just someone to talk through your needs with, I'm here.

No request is too small, and no request is going to scare me away. I want to get to know my clients, their pets, and become someone our community can count on.

Please know that I am ALWAYS willing to work with you. If finances are tight, I am happy to discuss payment plans or adjust services to better fit your needs. ❤️ No judgment, ever.

🐾❤️ Meet Some more of my furry Friends!

Last week I had the pleasure of spending 8 days house sitting and caring for this wonderful crew, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of animals to spend my time with!

🐶 Meet Maverick, or "Mav" for short! He is 12 years old and will be turning 13 this October. He was such a sweet, gentle, and well-behaved boy the entire week. Spending time with him was an absolute joy!

🐱 Kitty has quite the personality! At 1½ years old, she's the definition of a Sour Patch Kid in the best way possible! She's rambunctious and full of energy one minute, then curled up in your lap for a long nap the next. She's such a sweet girl and kept me entertained all week.

🐾 Opal & Bear This is Opal and Bear! Opal is my own Great Dane and loves having friends to play with. She is 5½ years old, and Bear, also a Great Dane! He will be turning 8 this September. Watching these two play together was so much fun!

🐈 Taz is a 10 year old farm cat who enjoys the simple life. You'll usually find him lounging on the front porch, soaking up the sunshine, or helping keep the field mice under control. He's a true farm cat through and through!

🐈 Yella is about 6 months old. He wandered onto the property one day and decided he'd found his forever home. He quickly became best friends with Taz and has settled right in. He's such a sweet boy, and it's clear he found exactly where he belongs.

❤️ I am so thankful for the opportunity to house sit and pet sit for amazing families like this one. Being trusted to care for your homes and beloved animals means so much to me. It truly makes my heart happy to be doing something I love and spending my days caring for animals of all kinds.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your pets. I can't wait to meet more furry, feathered, and farmyard friends in the future! 🐾

Hey!

I've been a little quiet on social media lately, but that's only because I've been thriving in real life and staying nice and busy with all of these amazing pets! 😊

I wanted to introduce a couple of handsome boys I had the pleasure of caring for a few weeks ago.

✨ Meet Duke & Doobie! ✨
These two were an absolute joy to watch and are some of the sweetest, most well-behaved dogs you could ever meet.

Duke is a 5 year old mixed breed who absolutely loved his belly rubs and soaking up every bit of my attention he could get. 😂🥰

Doobie is a 3½ year old Great Dane who is convinced he's a lap dog... and honestly, who's going to tell him otherwise? 😂 Every time I stayed to play for a while, he'd come plop himself right onto my lap. He's a giant sweetheart! ❤️

💡 Fun fact: Duke can literally walk underneath Doobie without even ducking! 😂 And Doobie never seemed to mind one bit.

These boys loved their playtime, pets, and all the extra attention. They were so much fun to spend time with, and I truly enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities.
