Big Leap of Faith Dog Training & Services Big Leap of Faith is named after my two original Pit Bulls.

Big Leap of Faith offers private lessons, group classes, board & train, working through undesired behaviors, as well as the opportunity to participate in group walks. I have always had a passion for dogs and dog training but it was not until a 4 month old Pit bull came into my life that I knew the love I had for training came in all breeds and sizes.

BLOF Summer Classes Are Here!
Our summer classes are officially open and will begin the second week of July! If you’re looking for something fun and productive to do with your dog this summer, this is the perfect opportunity to work on real-life skills while enjoying the outdoors. 🐾

This session we’re excited to add a Tricks Class! Whether you’re hoping to earn AKC Trick Titles in the future or simply want to strengthen the bond with your dog, this class is a great fit.
We’ll also be continuing our Fitness Classes due to the interest we’ve had, along with our traditional:

Front paws elevated with duration.

What is the purpose?

For this skill, we want the dog to stand with their front paws elevated on a piece of equipment while the handler is able to circle the dog. While the dog remains in a stand stay with front paws elevated, the handler motion will encourage weight shifting.

Proper Form: Dog targets front paws to equipment with forelimbs a natural distance apart. Their topline should remain neutral with rear limbs not being too wide, or tucked underneath the trunk of the dog.

Bark Madness 2026 championship winner went to “Oh My God” where if you watched the video you likely watched it twenty times because it was that funny! Huge congratulations to Titan and his owner Kelly for not only winning it all but also the first to take home the championship trophy!

Our 2025 Bark Madness championship winner was also our 2024 championship winner! This was our second back to back championship winner in BLOF’s history! “Just rollin around the yard” captured many laughs with this video!

Our Bark Madness 2024 championship winner was “Bang Bang”. A pretty semi-enthusiastic dramatic bang bang by a German Shepherd Dog. 🐕

Congratulations to our 2024 winner, proving once again that greatness doesn’t always have to be overly enthusiastic… sometimes it just needs a little drama.😎
