Please, be assured that we are heavily supporting Apache County animals and animal rescues!

We will not be able to support bringing dogs here from other states. While we would love to help every dog on the planet, we raise money in Apache County to support Apache County’s dogs.

As always, let us know within 30 days of spaying or neutering your K9 and we will give you $25! 💰

K9 Community Co Op has an announcement: Sandy Faison and Mind Your Manners have chosen to leave K9 Community Co Op.

We wish all the best for her! She is a very capable dog trainer. We appreciate all the shots and microchips she has given at our events and outside the events.

(All failure to provide documents for the last event is my fault (Mechele), as I had no idea that emails weren’t getting through. I’m rebuilding the digital files from the papers at the event and you should receive them in text soon, as email is still not functional). Please do not hold that against Mind Your Manners and Sandy.

This means we no longer have a trainer as part of the Co Op and the website will reflect that as soon as I can get into the backside and make the edits.

Rest assured, we will still have affordable vaccinations, micro chipping and spay/neuter vouchers!

We are looking forward to our next Doggie Drive Thru, once the heat of summer and wet of monsoon have passed.

If you would like to be a Vendor at our next event, please message us.

If you would like to volunteer at our next event, please message us.

Edit: call or text 928-362-1267 for your confidential vaccination records.

To protect your privacy, records will only be sent to the person listed as the K9 owner, to the number provided on the form the day of vaccination.

We have had a problem for a while with our email’s server and I didn’t know it. As the tech behind K9, I apologize to everyone who hasn’t gotten their vaccination records.

Some made it through and some didn’t. I’m working to figure out the problem with tech support. This old dog is learning some new tricks! We should have them all taken care of by end of the week.

Ticks!! Yes, we have them up here and always have had. What kind? I don’t know. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My Missy got at least 7 very quickly in the valley while hiking. All deep in her ears, none on her body.

The vet gave us Otomite plus to use in her ears. You can pick this up at the feed store.

However, even applying this every 7 days and doing it 3 times, the eggs have survived. These are what I found in her today (picture). They were tiny and sickly, but still attached and doing their damage.

I dipped a swab in 91% alcohol and massaged the back of the embedded ticks and they released and backed out of their own accord, legs flailing. I saturated them with the alcohol and they died.

To treat her ears naturally, to make them get out, I mixed the following:

1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup peroxide
1 tsp 91% rubbing alcohol

I saturated cotton balls, inserted them into her years and massaged/squeezed them. (You might want to do this outside and step away as they shake it out).

I will continue to do this procedure and inspect them, using the cotton swab with alcohol if I can see them, until they are gone.

I will be increasing the natural oils and repellents, both topically and in her diet.

I hope this helps. Not medical advice, just what I’m doing for my Missy girl.

Hey, everyone! I have to apologize for not getting the Verification of Vaccination emailed from our April 18th event. Sadly, my hard drive hates me!

Working on getting them sent out and you should be seeing them in your inbox soon!
