My name is Hannah Meyers, and my journey to creating Bubba J's Mobile Dog School began in 2015 with a very special foster dog. He was scheduled to be euthanized the next day, having spent his entire life in a kennel with little interaction or exercise. His big ears earned him the name Radar, but as I got to know him, I realized he was much more than a name—he was a soul in need of understanding and connection.

Radar and I embarked on a journey together, learning how to communicate and build trust. He didn’t know how to play or how to just be a house dog, but with time, patience, and love, he blossomed into a wonderful companion. Eventually, he earned his nickname Bubba J, stealing my heart in the process.

This experience ignited a passion within me to help other families and their dogs build that same bond. I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, and I understand how difficult it can be for people to communicate effectively with their furry friends. Through years of fostering and caring for dogs, I honed a set of techniques and taught essential behaviors that helped every dog in my care transition successfully into their forever homes.

At Bubba J's Mobile Dog School, my mission is to teach families how to communicate with their dogs, reducing bad habits and helping dogs become “good dogs” who bring joy and love to their families for a lifetime. Together, we can create stronger bonds, happier homes, and fewer dogs in shelters.

Claire was one of my fosters. She was rescued from an abandoned house. She had separation anxiety and other issues. We did not work them all out but, she did find a home to love her the way she deserved. She caught on to training and learned a lot of commands. Training helped calm her and opened the communication to build trust. She enjoyed our training games and really came out of her shell.
I offer personalized training in your location. Together we can help your dog adjust to a new home and new rules.

This is Trixie. She was my pooch. I found her on craigs list. She was covered in fleas and had very little socialization or exercise when we found her. We really had to work hard on some behaviors caused by her lack of exercise. We learned to communicate and build trust with training. She lived a happy active life. She always was complimented on how good of a girl she was.

XENA was a foster of mine.
She learned alot of commands and manners before being adopted. Her family was pleasantly surprised how well behaved she was. She found the best family and lived the rest of her life happily ever after. She loved morning snuggles.

He caught on to training quickly. The technique we use is easy to learn and very effective. He learned several commands before he found his forever home.

My name is Hannah Meyers. In 2015, I brought home my 1st foster dog. He was to be euthanized the next day. He lived his life in a kennel with very little interaction or exercise. He had big ears and they called him Radar. We spent a lot of time learning how to communicate. He did not know how to play or how to just be a house dog. I have always had a love for dogs. I would love to help teach you how to communicate with your dog. I find people are at a loss when it comes to communication with their dog. I can help teach you and your dog how to communicate. Most everyone recognizes a "good dog". There were a lot of commands and behaviors I taught every foster and personal dog in my care. I believe this helped the dog and family adjust, reducing bad habits that may cause them to be returned. My goal was to make them "good dogs" for a life full of joy and love.
