Our friend is fostering and is looking for a loving home for Phoenix 💖

Here is the info:

Phoenix- 2.5 yo neutered male German shepherd/Husky mix.

Phoenix is a very good boy with lots of energy who has a lot of love to give. He is very affectionate with his people and loves to snuggle. He is conflict avoidant, but is still learning how to play politely with people and other dogs. He has been working with a trainer for the past several months and is doing extremely well, and his rescue plans to cover the cost of continued training with his current trainer during the transition into his new home.

🐈 Cats: no issues with cats. A cat lives with him at his foster home and he doesn’t chase her or bother her, they coexist amicably.

🐶 Other dogs: he sometimes plays too roughly or is rude with other dogs, but has never shown any malicious intent. With clear guidance he does well with other dogs. He has been coexisting with another dog at the foster home.

👶 Kids: Phoenix has met kids aged 1-10 years old and has shown no concerning behavior, however, as stated earlier, he is still learning how to play politely, and once play has started he can be pushy and mouthy. He has come a long way in his training and will need consistency to not regress into impolite play.

He has been a wonderfully sweet and lovably dog during his time with me in foster care. As huskies and shepherds are both working breeds, Phoenix needs lots of mental and physical stimulation each day. He will do great with a human who can be and wants to be active with him daily.

Thanks to High Road Tattoo’s incredible Side Flash Day Fundraiser! during Dog Day at the Bay!, we were able to donate $700 to Franklin County Animal Rescue🐾💛

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out, got tattooed, supported, and shared the love. Your generosity helps make a real difference for animals in need right here in our community.

It’s amazing what can happen when local businesses and neighbors come together for a great cause. 🐶🐱💪
