**COVID-19 update**
Faithful Friend is open again!! See below for a few changes...
At Faithful Friend we are committed to continue to provide services during this time. We understand that there are additional concerns and we are taking several precautions to help reduce the chance that we will accidentally spread virus from one household to the next while we serve the community. This will include less physical interaction between people and we are also committed to increased cleaning of equipment and personnel between appointments for your safety. Please see the following changes to our service:
1- We ask that you not schedule an appointment if you or a household member are currently ill or if you are aware that you have been in contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Please call, text, or email if you have special circumstances.
2- We are currently not entering homes and the appointments will be conducted outdoors (front or back yard or local park, etc.) For cats and small pets that may not typically go outdoors you can hold your pet at the doorway and we will administer the sedation and allow you to carry your pet back inside to be with them as the sedation takes effect. We will also try to maintain a 6 ft distance from people when possible and will have to forgo our customary handshakes and hugs. We understand this looks different than our usual appointments but we believe this will still provide a peaceful euthanasia experience for your pets while minimizing risks of spread of corona virus.
3- No paperwork will be conducted at the appointment. We will allow you to view the euthanasia form ahead of time and we will note that you have given permission for the euthanasia either verbally or through text/email. We also will not take payment at the visit. This means that we will not be able to accept cash or check payments. The payment can be made online when the appointment is booked or we will email you a link to make the payment. You may still use Scratch Pay for a payment plan option.
