Dumpling — Your Pocket-Sized Best Friend!


Looking for the ultimate snuggle buddy and playmate? Dumpling might just be your perfect match! This adorable little tabby boy is the whole package — sweet, playful, and full of love.

Dumpling is a true people-kitten who always wants to be near his humans. He’s happiest when he’s being carried around in a cozy sling, baby wrap, or snuggled up inside a sweatshirt pocket like the precious “baby kangaroo” he is! Though he can be a little shy at first with new people, once he warms up, he’s all about belly rubs, purrs, and playtime. He’ll even flip onto his back to show off his adorable belly and invite you in for gentle scritches!

A certified purr machine with the cutest lil’ meow, Dumpling loves relaxing to harp music and watching nature and wildlife videos. (He’s very sophisticated like that.) His favorite pastimes also include lounging on heating pads, chasing wand toys, wrestling with his cousin Ollie, and giving them sweet little grooming sessions. Dumpling looks up to Ollie like a big brother and we would like this amazing due to be adopted together.

When it’s snack time, Dumpling comes running the moment he hears a container of crunchy treats shake! Ollie is never far behind! He’s a huge fan of squeeze-up treat tubes, Temptation treats, and honestly anything delicious you offer with love.

😻ADOPTABLE- Please Share😻

Good Golly Miss Molly!!
This darling little girl is special. Just look at her fabulous markings! Have you EVER seen a cat that looked like her before? Probably not. Not only is she special because of her gorgeous, luxurious, bunny soft stunning fur coat, but she’s literally special…needs that is. But only slightly. You see, tiny Miss Molly is blind, although it appears she has one eye, her remaining eye is not a functioning eye. Her remaining eye has a detached retina, so it’s just there for decoration at this point. Lol. No but really, our UCDavis veterinary staff friends highly recommended that Molly keep her remaining eye because even though it doesn’t provide her with any sight, it still helps her circadian rhythm and influences her sleep cycle, immune system, metabolism, appetite, cardiovascular system and even her hormones. So keeping that eye was beneficial in her case in many ways. We always want what’s best for our fosters, and we listened to our vet partners on this one. After doing some research on the subject, we’re glad we did.

Molly is a trip. She’s a silly little young lady, roughly a year old now. She was scooped up from a feral colony in Marysville. The feral feeder there saw her scared and hunkered down in a corner, and later observed that she had some challenges. The Good Samaritan brought her to Fieldhaven Feline Center where she was spayed and treated for a nasty upper respiratory infection and she was given a complete medical work up. Molly was then diagnosed as blind by their veterinarian. Mission Meow specializes in blind cats, so we said yes when we heard this lady needed help. Molly was sent to a longer term foster where she got further care and was able to been seen by a fantastic ophthalmologist at UC Davis. Molly needed surgery to have what was left of her other compromised eye removed. We call this procedure an enucleation. Molly healed up beautifully after surgery and thrived in her foster home. She’s now healed up and ready for her forever home.

Molly had a rough beginning at life in a feral colony, so she has some hang ups that she’s working through, but she’s a loyal and sweet cat once she gets to know you. Molly can be a little skittish around loud noises, and who can blame her, many of us are the same way lol. Molly has learned to come to her foster mom when she rubs her fingers, when she does that, she knows that means she’s safe and she’s about to be touched. It’s a way of giving Molly a heads up, she’s about to be pet. And this little darling loves to be pet! Her foster mom can’t give her enough attention. She chirps happily as she circles back and forth around you for more attention. She has a funny little half hearted love bite that she’ll give you when she’s really happy. She has never bit hard or broken any skin, so it’s just a charming thing she does. She’s just the cutest! Molly is a small little seven and a half pound girl who enjoys being picked up for even more attention lately. She’s adjusted beautifully to life in her foster home with their other resident cats. In fact, she’s so playful that we recommend a home with some younger playful cats or kittens for her. Molly has a few buddies that she enjoys playing with at her foster home, so being an only cat may not be the best situation for her. She comes alive when she’s around other cats. To our knowledge she has not been exposed to dogs before, so depending on the dog, a slow integration would be recommended for her. Molly has not been around small humans, and because of their quick movements, and tendency to be loud, we recommend a much quieter and stable home for Molly.

Blind cats are phenomenal if you didn’t know that already. Watching them, you would swear that they could see. Cats are adaptive creatures already, but being blind just kicks their other senses into a higher gear. Their whiskers help, but their hearing is what helps them the most. They climb, trot, play soccer and love fiercely. Blind cats tend to latch on to their caregiver strongly, and they make fantastic indoor only cats. Molly is a very unique kitty, she’ll give you endless joy and amazement just watching her navigate through her world. Please consider adopting little Molly, she deserves a fabulous family to love and adore her, just like her foster family does.

ZIGGY - Adoptable - Please Share

My Story: A Purr-fect Match Waiting to Happen

Hi, I’m Ziggy, a handsome and smart little guy with a heart full of love and a purr that could melt anyone’s heart. I was rescued, with my three siblings, on a large property where I had a very large extended family. My rescue was bittersweet. Although I am very thankful that I no longer have to sleep outside, and wonder when I will have food again, I really miss my parents dearly, as well as all of my relatives that helped care when I was very young.

I have been in my foster home for a while because I was unsure about humans in the beginning. These were the same humans that took me from my family. I was sad, confused and wasn’t sure who to trust. There were other kittens in my foster home with me, including my siblings, that I had fun playing with but every time I heard one of the big cats talking I would talk back to them and cry. I really want (and need) a surrogate kitty parent (or two) that will not only play with me but will want to cuddle with me and groom me.

I don’t have any experience with doggy parents but that might work as well, if they meet the criteria listed above and have good references. In the meantime, while I’m still at my foster home, I’m trying to make friends with the big cats here and I have learned how to be the best snuggler with my foster parents. In fact, I’m a snuggle enthusiast—seriously, I can’t get enough of cozy lap time or curling up close for a warm cuddle.

But don’t worry, I have a playful streak, too—I love batting at toys, chasing feather wands, and zooming around to burn off my kitten energy. One of my favorite activities is playing with, and carrying around, my little balls meowing and looking for someone to play with me. I am even learning to play fetch! But when the day winds down, I’m all about those quiet, affectionate moments. I’ve got great bed manners (I promise not to hog the blankets… too much), so expect me to be your little spoon at night.

It takes me a little while to get comfortable around new people so offering me some treats when we meet for the first time will go a long way in building trust and a new friendship. Building a new friendship takes a little time so please be patient with me as we get to know each other.

I used to be part of a local TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) colony, but now I’ve got a full belly and a cozy spot to nap. Life is good. But my fellow kitty comrades? We sent out a very important email out today but people are reporting it in their junk folders. Please move it to your inbox so we don't get labeled as spam! Here was the message:

Inspired by the first kitten we rescued named Sutter, we launched a large-scale TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) campaign on this ranch and began rescuing the kittens young enough to be saved. Many were just like Sutter—sick, starving, and barely hanging on. With months of foster care and intensive medical treatment, 25 kittens have now been fixed, healed, and rehomed. 46 cats have been TNR'd or found new barn homes. A dedicated caretaker is continuing to feed and monitor the cats- including providing heated outdoor shelters!


And now, the incredible news:

We’ve secured funding to sterilize all remaining 20–30 adult cats!

But we’ve hit a heartbreaking roadblock.

💔 We’ve run out of funds to rescue and care for the kittens!

These fragile babies are still being born—malnourished, infected, and vulnerable.
Without immediate medical care and support, they won’t survive.

We estimate it will cost another $15,000 to finish Sutter’s ranch—to ensure that the kittens rescued this year receive the lifesaving medical care they need before they are adopted into loving, caring homes.
