For the love of dogs...
Hello everyone! My name is Patty and I love all things dogs. It all started when we rescued our first girl, a white and brindle staffordshire named Daisy. She opened my mind and my heart to what the word “rescue” truly meant. I will never know what her life was like before us, but I do know that with us, she was the most spoiled, loved, and well fed dog.
Then, one day while out of town, I visited a cute little dog boutique. Aside from the unique items they carried, what I loved most is what they were doing for the homeless dogs in their community. Now, the idea of owning my own dog boutique and helping dogs in Sacramento is turning from a dream to a reality.
Over the last year and half, you have seen Leash and Collar at the SPCA’s Doggie Dash, Front Street Animal Shelter’s Brew Fest, River City Marketplace, Oak Park First Fridays, and a ton of other craft fairs and events. We were also in the top 5 of the Sacramento Downtown Partnerships “Calling All Dreamers” contest. While I do try to make many of the items I sell, I also love to support other small businesses.
We had just signed a lease for an amazing space when COVID-19 stopped us in our tracks. Unable to build out and open the doors to our dream store as planned, I am using this time to look for more fun and unique products for you. I am so excited to show you what has been in the works for over a year when it is safe and healthy to be back in the community. In the meantime, thank you for taking the time to read my little story. Feel free to check out our website. Each purchase helps us keep the dream alive. Hugs!
