Did you know donations from all of our friends, family, & faithful supporters go towards helping us care for sweet buns like this?
Silky was just rescued from death row yesterday. Despite her ear mites & fractured hind leg, she is in good spirits, eating & pooping like normal. She was immediately taken to our trusted vet & it looks like the fracture(s) is an old injury. We'll keep you posted on her care 💝.

SHRS is supported entirely by volunteers. The core of our efforts is focused on fostering rabbits, but there are other important tasks that SHRS members and volunteers undertake.

Currently, we are looking for volunteers for the following tasks and positions:

🐰Fostering
🐰Coordinating with local shelters
🐰Volunteer recruitment and coordination
🐰Assistance at adoptions days with set-up/take down, grooming (2nd Saturdays, 10am-3pm)
🐰Fundraising
🐰On-call transportation assistance, particularly taking rabbits to and from the vet, adoption day, shelters, foster homes/sanctuaries

Stripe has been adopted 🥳!!! His new family drove here all the way from Chico to meet the bunny match, and they fell in love with Stripe! We wish them all the best and hope to hear some happy updates 🐇!
