When Princess Leia came through the doors of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic with sudden swelling, her family didn’t know what had happened, but they knew exactly where to go.

In a town without nearby emergency options, the team at Town & Country steps in to do whatever it takes. After running clotting lab work, the team discovered signs of a venomous snake bite. They acted fast with fluids, antivenin, and close monitoring. When her temperature dropped and her heart rate spiked, they worked around the clock to stabilize her and keep her comfortable.

Princess Leia made it through the night and after another round of IV fluids and a thorough recheck, she’s headed home with one incredible survival story (and a lot of extra love)!
