Taking care of a newborn puppy is a lot like taking care of a human newborn! Little to no sleep-monitoring feedings-setting alarms for night time feedings- setting alarms to wake up early to make sure the puppy eats- setting your schedule around feedings- making sure momma gets breaks- and laundry! Dear sweet baby Jesus the amount of laundry we have done!!! It’s exhausting. But it is also so rewarding. This little house bear is now 6 weeks old. She is a lot like her momma- SPICY! Similar to a sour patch kid- sour then sweet! She is little miss independent. LOVES her groceries! Eating hard food mixed with wet food. She enjoys going outside and thinks she is big like the other dogs. Yadi and her love to play and Titus loves her but is weary because he is so big. But he still plays the role of Funcle well! Magnolia- well she is done being a momma to Montana. I don’t blame her- cause well teeth. She is going to be a big beautiful block headed house bear. Montana has graduated from a large cat carrier to her very own wire kennel. Soon she will be like the larger house bears and be in her very own big kennel. Here are some pics from the day she was born til now.

A lot of you have asked if we will breed Magnolia again- as of now the answer is yes- but it will be in a year. We want her to rest and give her a heat off.

Life lately has been a blur and I feel like I have just now gotten back to somewhat normal. April 17- Magnolia went into full blown labor at 4:00am. Luckily we had moved her in to our room the 16th because I had a feeling she would go into labor in the early morning hours. She woke me up panting. By 6:00am she was contracting and 6:20am the first puppy was born. It was a male- and he wasn’t breathing. I resorted back to my old vet tech days and tried for 20 min to get him back. I couldn’t save him. At 6:50 am a little girl was born. Magnolias every thing right but baby wasn’t crying. So I yelled at Mitch to rip the sac off and hand it to me. He did and I went to working. I was suctioning and slinging and rubbing and FINALLY she cried! A few minutes later later Magnolia looked at us like “What the heck just happened?!?” And jumped out of the whelping box. I looked at Mitch and said- “damn she is going to be a 💩 mom.” Well she proved me wrong. For a first time momma- Magnolia has been great! When she feeds- she does like the attention on her so it has been tiring sitting with her while she feeds. But other than that she is very attentive and protective. She allows any and all humans near the baby but the funcles- Titus and Yadi- have to stay back. They can sniff as long as we are holding the baby but nothing more! Titus is in love with the baby and Yadi doesn’t like any one but his momma! We decided to keep Magnolia’s baby. So we welcome Kellar’s Magnificent Montana to our family! We will breed Magnolia again in a year. So stay tuned! Until then we will keep updating everyone on the baby as she will be a part of Crow Mountain Rotti’s. This didn’t end up how we had thought- 2 babies instead of 3 and 1 was born sleeping. But our Magnolia is healthy and wonderful and Montana is as precious as she can be!

I can not WAIT to see what these two produce! Magnolia from Crow Mountain Rotti’s (the OG) and Diesel from ZTR Rottweilers out of Jacksonville, Arkansas. What a combination!!! Diesel is a handsome boy and produces some stunning and big offspring! April 19th is the projected due date!
We have had some inquiries about the pups. 2 are already spoken for! Let the countdown begin!!! 🩷🩵🩷🩵
