🐐💕 BIG NEWS from A&J Homestead!
We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming home Nala and Lulu this evening — our two adorable 2-month-old Nigerian Dwarf goats! 🥳 These sweet girls are finally here and we can’t wait to share all the fun with you!
We know we haven’t been posting as much as we’d like lately, but we’ve been SUPER BUSY behind the scenes building their cozy shelter and a big, safe goat run so these babies have everything they need to thrive. Homesteading life doesn’t stop!
On top of all the goat prep, we also successfully raised a full batch of 20 Cornish Cross chickens over the last couple months. The deep freezer is now fully stocked, which means we’ll be feeding our family with homegrown meat for months to come. 🙌 What a blessing!
And because we clearly can’t stop adding to the Homestead, we’ve got one more major surprise coming today…

Coming home at the end of May, this adorable spotted goat kid has already stolen our hearts, and we can’t wait to welcome her home where she’ll join our growing A&J Homestead family. We’re ready for all the cuteness, chaos, and cuddles!

LULU ❤️!
This sweet little doeling stole our hearts the second we saw her, and we can’t stop smiling! She’s full of heart, those big ears, that tiny white face, and those adorable little legs… we’re are beyond thrilled! 😍
We’re over the moon to welcome Lulu home to A&J Homestead at the end of May! She’ll be joining us and bringing even more joy (and probably lots of tiny hoof prints) to the family.

What an absolutely perfect day at A&J Homestead! ☀️🐐
We just had our very first meet-and-greet with our new “kids” and oh my goodness… our hearts are so full! These sweet little goats are the cutest, most loving babies we’ve ever met. From their tiny bleats to those big curious eyes and floppy ears, every snuggle made us smile bigger.
The sun was shining, the sky was endless blue, and we spent the afternoon just falling in love with the newest members of our growing little homestead family. Jonathan couldn’t stop grinning with that big beard and his goat buddy, while Amy was over here melting every time they nuzzled in close. Pure joy!
We are beyond excited to welcome these precious goats home at the end of May! Our homestead is about to get a whole lot livelier (and a lot more adorable). Can’t wait to watch them explore their new home, chase each other around, and become part of our daily adventures.

🌿✨ First Date in the Yard! ✨🌿
Our sweet Polish chickens, Desi and Karen, finally had their very first official outing together in the yard this evening! 🐔💕
They spent the most delightful time exploring the fresh green grass, pecking at little surprises, and enjoying the beautiful spring evening together. Karen was her usual sassy self, leading the way with those fabulous feathers bouncing, while Desi stayed near to his woman, clearly smitten and happy to follow her lead.
It was such a joy watching them bond under the golden light— making memories on the homestead!

🌟 The sun is still shining bright at A&J Homestead — even on the darkest of evenings! 🌟
Y’all, please know we’re doing more than alright out here — we’re truly blessed and loving every moment of this homestead life!
Last night we took a little walk under the glowing string lights, feeling nothing but gratitude. When we close our eyes, we can still see the sun shining so bright because God keeps pouring blessings down on A&J Homestead every single day. The simple joys, the peaceful nights, the love we get to share — it’s all so good!
We’re soaking up every beautiful moment and feeling incredibly thankful for this life we’re building.
