Most of you know by now that our house was struck by lightning and burned down 5 weeks ago. But what many of you don’t know is during this time our AC units in our nursery went out and that the broken piece on the mother boards come from China. To replace them, we had zero idea if it would be 6 months or 1 year that the pieces actually came in after being ordered or that they cost almost as much as the entire units themselves! With this in mind, we made the decision to scrap them all together as we have had on going issues with them from the beginning. To say the least,We are not fans of ductless units! After less than 5 yrs We are replacing them with traditional units; two 5 ton units as we are tired of fighting the battle with the old units. It is Not worth the frustration. While we don’t want to spend the $ at this juncture in our lives, in the Texas heat we feel there isn’t another option and the dogs deserve to get out of the Texas heat waves too! Good riddance with the old and welcome to the new, cooler AC units! Mommas and babies will be so grateful as are we! The crazy thing to us is that the state doesn’t require AC as part of our annual inspections! They require some crazy stuff but this isn’t one of those things! So weird to me because in Texas, AC is life‼️🥰🤣 ❤️
