This has been my first summer as an official business. One year ago, I downloaded Rover, made my own website, and got insurance. In the past year, I have made so many human and animal friends, and I cannot be more grateful.
It has been quite a busy summer! I was gone every weekend, sometimes I'd be gone for two weeks at a time, come home for a day or two, then be right back out! I haven't had a day off in quite a while, and I've had multiple drop ins a day just about every day. I've also got heat exhaustion only 5 times, which is pretty good for me😆
I also adopted Clover in the middle of spring. And I couldn't be more thankful to her original owners, or to the family of her bestie to watch her while I'm away. I'm not going to lie, it's been a struggle juggling my own child with all the other fur babies that I watch. But I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm so thankful to anyone who also allows Clover to join your family in drop ins, or during stays. She's made so many friends and she loves playing with everyone.
