The 1st Brander Smith Memorial Barrel Race is almost here—Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Rose Bud, Arkansas!

We’re looking for sponsors to help us make this event truly memorable. Your support helps us provide great prizes for our contestants, and anything left over will go toward purchasing Brander Bibles to continue honoring his legacy.

🌟 Let’s talk about this HIGH POINT SADDLE and how YOU can win it! 🌟

After the dust settles and all the runs are in, we’ll tally points based on placings in the OPEN only:

🏆 1st = 10 pts
🥈 2nd = 9 pts
🥉 3rd = 8 pts.. and so on, down to 1 point!

👀 Points are rider-based (not horse-based) and limited to your top 3 horses — so you can run more, but only your best 3 runs count!

In case of a tie, the winner is whoever had the highest single placing 💪
(Example: Rider 1 scores 7 pts in 1D and 3 pts in 2D = 10 total.
Rider 2 places 1st in 1D for 10 pts = Rider 2 wins!)
