Today is a big day for our sweet Bentley as he heads off to begin his next chapter with his forever family! 🐾🥹
Raising these babies, loving them, and watching their little personalities blossom is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. But let’s be honest… sending them home is always bittersweet. You pour your heart into them from day one, and even when you know they’re going to an amazing home, a little piece of your heart goes with them. ❤️
Bentley, your next adventure is waiting! May your life be filled with endless love, belly rubs, spoiled rotten moments, and a family who treasures you as much as we do. 🐶💙

🚨 LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FIRST 8 WEEKS. 🚨
Because no… raising a litter is NOT just feeding puppies, cleaning p**p, taking cute pictures, and handing them over at 8 weeks.
Those first 8 weeks matter. A LOT.
And what happens during those 8 weeks can help shape how a puppy handles the world for years to come.
I don't believe in raising puppies in a kennel and hoping they magically become confident, well-adjusted adults.
We put in the work.
From birth, our puppies are handled, observed, and cared for individually. As they grow, we intentionally expose them to:
🐾 Different sounds and household noises
🐾 Different surfaces and textures
🐾 Toys and enrichment activities
🐾 New sights and smells
🐾 Grooming and routine handling
🐾 Nail trims and basic care
🐾 Different people and interactions
🐾 Age-appropriate exploration
🐾 Individual attention away from their littermates
🐾 New environments and experiences
🐾 Everyday household activity
We don't just throw them into everything and call it “socialization.”
We introduce new experiences appropriately and positively, allowing them to explore, process, and gain confidence without overwhelming them.
And yes, it takes TIME.
It takes patience.
It takes cleaning.
It takes planning.
It takes getting down on the floor with puppies when you'd rather be sleeping. 😂
It takes watching each puppy individually and recognizing that not every puppy needs the exact same thing.
Because here's the blunt truth:
A puppy's first 8 weeks shouldn't be treated like a waiting period until they're old enough to leave.
Those 8 weeks are an opportunity.
An opportunity to give them a foundation for confidence, resilience, handling, learning, and life.
Anyone can breed puppies.
Raising them properly is a whole different job.
When one of my puppies leaves here, I want their new family to know that I didn't simply keep them alive for 8 weeks.
I invested in them for 8 weeks. ❤️🐾
Because I'm not raising puppies just to sell puppies.
I'm raising someone's future family member. 🏡❤️
