We are excited to share the news of the highly anticipated first litter between our own GCHG Risgae's Lexie Rose at Southern Sands and GCHB Southern Sands Mini Cooper, due to arrive in February 2025.

As we finish our show year 2024, Southern Sands Mini Cooper shined at the Greater Ocala Dog Club show! So pleased with how he has blossomed into a solid competitor in the show ring. After just a few months back in the show ring, after almost a year off, he is closing in on his Silver Grand title.

Special thank you to Judge John Schoeneman who gave him Best of Breed over several nice specials and for the Owner Handler Group 3.
Thank you Judges Myles Preston, Donna Ernst and Sydney Good for the Group 2 placements in the Owner Handler Nonsporting ring.

It wouldn’t be complete without the time spent with friends these last three weeks. Can’t wait for next year!

Be inspired by Lexie, Remy, Kalei, and Cooper, an unstoppable team pushing the limits in canine sports. Lexie Rose's extraordinary journey to Grand Champion Gold Status, guided by Steve, sets a new standard at Southern Sands. Remy, her gifted son, achieved an impressive 4th rank in 2023, is invited to the AKC FastCat Invitational and currently ranks 3rd, earning his FCAT and Grand Champion titles, thanks to his noble lineage from Solstice Pyromaniac 'Emmett.' Kalei, boasting a remarkable pedigree from Wet Kisses Magnum Pi, attained Champion status in Lexington, KY with me and is moving on to achieve Grand Champion greatness with Steve. Following a year long break, Cooper excels in the ring, securing five Best of Breeds and multiple Select placements, poised to achieve Silver Grand status, honoring the legacy of GCH Sands Driving Miss Daisy Dukes and International Champion/GCHS Cloudtop Parker.
