You may have received an email stating that we will be open on Memorial Day, however, that email was not sent from our clinic and the information is incorrect. If you click the link in the email, it directs you to a veterinary clinic in California.

Faithful Friends Animal Clinic will be CLOSED Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25. We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Boarding pick-up and drop-off will still be available during our closure at: 8:00 AM & 5:00 PM

Please note that we will not be seeing patients during this time, as there will not be a doctor on staff.

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE: Fayetteville Animal Services is alerting residents to a recent spike in Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) cases within the local raccoon population. While the virus does NOT pose a health threat to humans, it is contagious and potentially fatal for domestic dogs.

RECOGNIZING THE SIGNS:
• Disorientation: Raccoons appearing "drunk," stumbling or wandering aimlessly.
• Unusual Behavior: Being active during the day and showing no fear of humans or loud noises.
• Physical Symptoms: Discharge from the eyes or nose (looking like a "cold"), matted fur or seizures/tremors.

Due to a high volume of boarding during Spring Break, our doggie daycare will be closed from Friday, March 20th through March 29th so we can focus on caring for all of our overnight guests.

We will resume normal daycare hours on Monday, March 30th. Thank you for your understanding!

Leptospirosis is a serious, potentially life-threatening disease that affects dogs of all breeds and sizes. The bacteria can survive in water and soil for weeks to months, putting pets at risk year-round — even in urban environments.

Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to help prevent leptospirosis and protect your pet from kidney failure and other severe complications. While we do not currently carry the leptospirosis vaccine at our hospital, we strongly encourage you to speak with your primary care veterinarian about whether the lepto vaccine is appropriate for your dog.
