This page is being maintained simply to share pictures of our personal Savannah pets. At Ten Lives, we have always been animal lovers. We always have multiple rescue dogs and cats which we have adopted. We consider our pets as part of the family. Needless to say, we were intrigued when we first learned about Savannah cats several years ago. The ability to have a completely wild-looking cat as part

of the family was now possible, as the Savannah cat is indeed a domestic cat. I'll tell you, they are REALLY COOL! You may have read that Savannahs act like dogs. In many ways, that is true. They ALWAYS greet us at the door when we come home. They love playing in water. They can be trained to fetch and walk on a leash. They don't shed their hair all over our clothes because their hair is different than that of a regular house cat. At Ten Lives Savannahs, we searched exhaustively to find cats which would best pass their African Serval physical characteristics to their kittens. We strive to breed for bold, black spots on a Serval gold background. Both kittens in our first litter of F2 kittens have the jet black nose from their father. They are absolutely gorgeous!
