Groomer Tip of the Day: Water + Mats = Bigger Knots! 🚫🐶💧

Bathing a matted dog can quickly turn a bad situation into a painful—and expensive—one. Mats don't magically disappear in water!

Why you should skip the bath until mats are gone:
1. Mats Tighten: Water causes them to swell and lock up.
2. It Causes Pain: Pulls on sensitive skin and risks cuts or bruising.
3. Traps Moisture: Leads to skin irritation and hot spots.
4. Higher Cost: Turns a quick brush-out into a full coat reset.

Our Rule of Thumb:
Always brush before you bathe! And if the mats are too tight or severe, dematting isn't safe. We will always choose humanity over vanity and start fresh with a safe, short haircut so your fur baby is comfortable and pain-free. ✂️🐾
