Practicing a little chicken math. 7 pretty Zombie chicks hatched from Griffin’s Banty Shanty. These road warrior eggs traveled in and out of Indiana, for a week, at temps down to 33F.

The beginning of a lifelong obsession! Where it all started. Jesting Oxford Rose, we called her Rosebud. Showed her for ten years in 4-H. I would get home from school, go to the grain bin and fill my stocking cap with corn, and would call her and she would ALWAYS come to me no matter where she was in the farm. She was fun to own.
