It’s been a while since I got on here and posted an update on my Lola... She’s doing great! Love every moment of every day with her. ❤️
This past week she went to the vet because she has a strange looking tumor like thingy on her paw(I know there’s a name for it but all I care about is that the vet says it’s probably NOT malignant). It needs to be removed but… the vet says she’s too fat… 😬 she weighs 7 lbs 7 oz now.. he wants her to get down to 7 lbs or less. She’s on a diet now, not as many treats as normal and she’s not happy. LOL.. but for her health, I will make sure she loses those extra pounds asap. Here’s a when we found her photo from Oct of 2020 to a now photo. Thank you for the continued prayers.. ❤️🙏🙏

Rockport friends and surrounding areas.. please keep a look out for this missing baby. Echo has been missing since 02/07/21. Last seen being picked up by a lady driving a white SUV..
This lady has a poodle and cats.. do you know anyone that fits that description?

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY LOLA!!
Wanted to share with all of you that we are celebrating Lola’s 7th birthday today!!!! Yaaaay!! .. So thankful that she is home.. she is healthy.. and she is safe! Here are a few pictures of the birthday girl. ❤️

I’ve had a few people ask me how Lola is doing.. Lola is doing great!
She’s my little lap dog, sits with me all the time.. follows me around the house, she still barks when I’m trying to put a trash bag in the trash can, barks at me to go get her toys and play with her, let’s me know when she’s hungry, and still snores when she sleeps. ❤️
One thing about Lola, she’s a tough, hardy little dog. Yes she’s small, but she’s mighty!
She’s been loved on by us, family members, friends, and all the grandkids.
Since coming home, she’s had 9 teeth removed and we had a scare of cancer but that proved to be negative. Thank god! She’s such a joy to have aground and I’m constantly reminded of how blessed we are to have her back.
Thank you for continuing to think about her and keeping her in your prayers. ❤️ Here’s a video from the other morning...the other Yorkie in this video is her sister Daisy. ❤️

Oh my gosh y’all! I realized yesterday that I’ve been wrong!! Lola will be seven on January 25th not six!! 😭😭 My baby is getting old.. but she still runs around and plays like a puppy!! ❤️

10/20/20 - Update on Lola:

First of all... I want all of you to know that I have read every comment on my posts and will continue to read each one.. I am overjoyed reading your comments.. your happiness at Lola’s return and how many of you have followed our journey through these 2 1/2 years is really heart warming.. ❤️

I’m also very happy to know that our story has given hope to those of you that have lost a fur baby and are still searching.. To those people I want to say, never give up...have faith and pray that someday you’ll be reunited as we have been. ❤️ To those of you that have not microchipped your precious fur babies, please think about doing so.. I’m now a firm believer.. but don’t just microchip, please be sure to register that chip with all your pets information, many people forget to complete that step.

Lola’s first night home was extremely joyful!!!! ❤️ Since we returned home kind of late from driving to Devine and then back home to Rockport, there was only enough time to meet with her sisters, explore the house and then go to sleep. She slept on the bed with us like she used to.. ❤️ I’m happy to report that she still snores.. 😂😂😂

This morning Lola went to her vet for a check up and we received more great news.. she tested negative for heart worms!! Yaaay!!!!
She weighs 6 lbs 1 oz which is not bad because when she went missing she weighed 6 lbs 3 oz.. She looks so thin to me but I guess it’s because her hair is pretty much buzzzed off. Her teeth look good but we’ll be scheduling a cleaning at a later date. Her nails were trimmed, she was given her vaccinations and she’s back on heart worm/flea and tick prevention! God is great!

We stopped by Moore Than Feed after her vets appointment to pick up an extra dog collar since Daisy was using Lola’s collar.. she was loved on by all the ladies there and they gave her some yummy treats to take home. ❤️

She is doing really well with her fur baby sisters, she loves to play with all the doggie toys, she’s eating great and is back to jumping on my husbands tummy for a rub and following me around the house like my little shadow. ❤️❤️ ..

I’m so happy I can’t stop smiling!! ❤️

LOLA IS HOME! It’s been 2 1/2 years since she went missing and today she’s finally home! I still can’t believe she’s here with me... ❤️

I’m not sure where Lola’s journey took her but when I received the call today, she was in Devine, Tx.

Here’s what happened:
At around 3:30 this afternoon I received a text message from Petlink stating that Lola had been found. I called the telephone number listed and right away was put in touch with a lady that said she had our dog.
The lady said that Lola had shown up at her doorstep three weeks ago on the day she was leaving for Wisconsin so she took her with her to Wisconsin. That was three weeks ago!! When she returned from Wisconsin, her daughter urged her to take Lola to a vet and have her scanned for a chip.. that’s how they found out that she was ours.
My husband and I left within the hour and made the two and a half hour drive to Devine, meeting at the Walmart there.

Lola didn’t recognize us..kind of broke my heart 💔...I always envisioned a reunion where she was totally as excited to see me as I was to see her.. that didn’t happen.. but that’s okay.. she’s home and we have a lifetime to get reacquainted.❤️

She seems healthy but her nails are very long, she’s very thin, and her hair is very short. I think it’s been a rough two years for her but I promised her that things are going to be much better for her now that she’s home. I promised that I will spend my days spoiling her and loving on her for the rest of her days... ❤️
My plan is to get her to her vet tomorrow to have her checked out and get her nails cut.

In the meantime.. tonight she got reacquainted with her chihuahua sister Coco, and met her new Yorkie sister Daisy. We have three babies now!!! She took Daisy’s toys and played with them.. pooped on my rug and peed on the floor.. looks as if we need to retrain. 😂😂

For those of you who have prayed for us, cried for us, always kept her in your heart and prayers, read my posts about her and shared those posts.. I can’t begin to tell you how much y’all mean to me. When I first had her in my arms I knew that I had to let y’all know ASAP that she was home! She’s home!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
