This week, we are excited to present our available shelter dogs for field trips. Engaging with these dogs not only provides them with a break from their kennels but also increases their chances of adoption. We have an animal rockstar to showcase!! 🌟
Luna, from , makes beaded, cat-inspired keychains and sells them to raise proceeds for the Ark! 100% of the profits go directly to animals in-need and we’re so grateful. With dreams of being a veterinarian, she is already making an impact for animals in her community. Thank you, Luna! Great job! 💕

Sweetie, Ruby, Tootsie, Kali, and Bronx have been loving their field trips the last few weeks! Field trips are a great way to get a shelter by dog for out of the shelter for a few hours! It’s a great way for our dogs to get a break, gain some extra socialization, and a fun way to spend a day with a pup!

FOSTER NEEDED! ❤
Our sweet boy, Duke, needs a foster home. He is a 1 year old, male Great Dane/ Labrador mix. He was surrendered at no fault of his own. Duke is recovering from demodex mange (which is NOT contagious) so he requires daily oral and eye medications plus medicated baths 3x per week. He is a gentle giant but he gets a litter uneasy with new people at first. Once he knows you, he is happy and spunky. Duke would do best in a home with no other dogs, at least while he recovers. He was with children in his previous home but would do best in a calmer home while he heals.

When fostering, we provide all food, leash, collar and medical care. You just provide a safe and loving space for him. If you're interested in meeting Duke for fostering, please email us at [email protected]. Thank you! 🐾

Koko is a 3 month old purebred Cane Corso. This sweet girl is looking for a loving, committed forever home where she can grow into a loyal and well-mannered companion. Just from the short time she had been here, we can tell she is a very intelligent girl. She has already been working on learning “sit and down”. Cane Corsos are known for their loyalty, protective nature, and strong bond with their families. They thrive with consistent training, exercise, and plenty of love. This is a very large breed dog who will get to be anywhere from 90 to well over 100 pounds, so it will be important that she goes to a home with a large space for her to grow. Meet Bramble! 💕 This handsome boy is a 6 month old Mini Schnoodle. He was found as a stray and sadly no one claimed him. With severe matting and malnourishment, he will continue to need some TLC. Bramble can be a little hesitant with new people but he warms up with patience, kind words and gentle pets. He just needs to learn to trust people. Everyone in the home will need to meet him and he may be frightened of young kids. We are unsure how he is with dogs but all dogs in the home must meet prior to adoption. Being a Poodle mix, we can not guarantee that he is hypoallergenic or nonshedding. The adopter should also be prepared regular coat maintenance and grooming. Kangaroo is an 8 week old female Pitbull/Boxer mix. As you can see she is a very sleepy girl. Kangaroo loves to tucker herself out with playtime so she can enjoy a nice long cuddly nap after. This beautiful girl snuggles right up into your arms to feel safe and warm. With those irresistible puppy eyes and lovable personality, she is ready to become a cherished member of a forever family. This kind of puppy will be silly, goofy, intelligent, playful, affectionate, and great with children. Potential adopters should also know that Pitbulls and Boxers do best with regular exercise, consistent training, and plenty of social interaction with people and other animals.
