Today, we reported our first-quarter 2026 financial results, and are pleased to share, “the team delivered a solid start to 2026, with first quarter revenue, gross margin, and earnings per share all exceeding our expectations," according to Chris Hufnagel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wolverine Worldwide.

1Q26 results compared 1Q25 include:
➡️ Total revenue of $457.6 million, up 11% year-over-year (YoY)
➡️ Saucony's net sales of $155.9, up 20.1% YoY
➡️ Merrell's net sales of $169.7 million, up 12.7% YoY

"I believe we're better brand builders today — led by Merrell and Saucony — with encouraging progress now evident across our broader portfolio,” said Hufnagel.

Yesterday, our Working Moms Employee Resource Group (ERG) hosted its third annual Mother’s Day Brunch at our global headquarters.

Attendees designed custom canvas totes with fun, inspirational patches and filled them with self-care goodies. They also enjoyed hearing from a House of Colour USA image consultant, who shared insights on the unique color analysis process.

We look forward to what's next for the performance running and lifestyle brand, with Wendy's overseeing the team's global brand marketing, digital marketing, creative, and go-to-market strategy.

We’re pleased to announce several leadership appointments across our Work Group, which includes Wolverine Boots & Apparel, 1000 Mile by Wolverine, Cat Footwear, Merrell Work, Bates Footwear, Hytest Safety Footwear, and Harley-Davidson Footwear brands.

Please join us in welcoming Ryan Drew as Chief Product Officer of Work Group.

We also congratulate Mike Maloney, who has been appointed to Global General Manager of Wolverine Boots & Apparel, following his role as Chief Product Officer, and Ben Harrison, who will serve as General Manager of Cat Footwear International, following his role as General Manager of Merrell Canada.

“This new leadership structure represents a key investment moment for the Work Group, allowing us to move faster, make more intentional and disruptive decisions to accelerate global growth, and fulfill our mission to make the world work better through products engineered for performance and designed for life,” said Justin Cupps, President of the Wolverine Worldwide Work Group.
