This unique and eye catching plant is actually a variety of Hoya carnosa, famous for its thick, curled, waxy leaves that look like they’re twisting into ropes. It’s a must have if you love interesting textures and low-maintenance greenery!

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑰𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎:

The Hindu Rope is native to Eastern Asia and Australia, where it grows as an epiphytic vine (meaning it often grows on trees rather than in the soil!).

𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙞𝙥𝙨:
• Light: Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate some morning sun but avoid harsh afternoon rays.
• Water: Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. These thick leaves store water, making it drought tolerant. Overwatering is the fastest way to make it unhappy!
• Humidity: It enjoys moderate humidity, but it’s pretty adaptable to typical household conditions.
• Bonus: With the right care, your Hindu Rope might even reward you with clusters of gorgeous, star-shaped flowers that smell amazing!
