15 kennels. 16 adoptable dogs. And more calls coming in every day.
As most of you know, we operate out of two buildings:
🏠 Our adoption building, where we house dogs and cats who are ready to go home: spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and on preventatives. It holds 7 full-size dog kennels.
🚨 Our intake building is where animals go when they first come to us: when they're on stray hold, awaiting spay/neuter, being treated for injuries or illness, or under quarantine. That building has 8 kennels.
That gives us 15 total kennels for dogs.
And as of today… we have 16 dogs available for adoption.
That doesn’t include the strays, the sick, the injured, the scared, the ones still waiting.
It doesn’t account for the dogs we’ve had to double up. Or the dogs we’ve had to house outside, because we simply have nowhere else to put them.
With 90-degree weather on the way, we’re facing a harsh reality:
We need space.
We need solutions.
We need you.
We know many of our dogs need to be the only pet.
We know times are hard. Budgets are tight.
But even if you can’t adopt, you can still make a life-saving difference.
Here’s how you can help:
🟡 Share our posts. Every click, every share could be the one that connects a dog to their forever home.
🟡 Donate. Money. Supplies. Time. It all helps.
🟡 Foster. Even a temporary home gives us space to help another in need.
🟡 Train. If you’re a dog trainer, your skills could be the key to helping one of our dogs become adoptable.
We are doing everything we can with what little we have. But the truth is... we’re full. And animals don’t stop needing help just because we’re out of room.
So please, if you’ve ever thought about helping, now is the time.
Together, we can make space.
Together, we can give them a chance.
Together, we can keep saving lives. 🐾
