Looking for an all around mare who is ready to try anything? Oona is a 14 years young Andalusian mare. She was started late, only being under saddle since August 2024, but has done so much since then!

Oona has been to dressage clinics, jumping at Rainbow Meadows, competed in her first endurance ride (intro 15 mile), participated in an intro to cow sorting, and even started teaching riding lessons!
She LOVES trails, would make a lovely eventer with some work, and is gutsy enough for western games too!
Loads and trailers beautifully. Ties, stands for the farrier. No buck, bolt, rear.

She is MORE GO THAN WOAH. She is very sensitive and also always up for anything. Because of this combination, SHE IS NOT A BEGINNER’S HORSE, she is still green. She has taught lessons to walk/trot students who aren’t quite balanced and she does fine, but if they squeeze or kick her accidentally she is totally ready to go. She has done well with our more advanced students, though, and if they are quiet she will settle in and relax pretty quickly.

Currently, she is in training 2-3 times a week with an emphasis in dressage. She also teaches lessons a couple days as well. She has jumped up to 2’3” with a rider (we have not free jumped her), and could easily course that height by the fall with an experienced rider. I believe she has potential up through novice level at least.

We are looking for a home that will love her and bring her to her full potential. She’d be great for a confident teen in a program or a trainer with a lesson program. We will be picky about where she goes as she is very special to us.

It is always a challenge for my students to get snapdragon to put her head down without her immediately leaning on them....

It is always a challenge for my students to get snapdragon to put her head down without her immediately leaning on them. E has progressed quite a bit in her riding in the past year and is finally able to get Snaps to look fancy every once in awhile. 🥰
